Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Pricely, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use the app.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Pricely for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
License Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the app
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
- Transfer, rent, lease, or sublicense the app
- Use the app for any illegal purpose or to infringe the rights of others
What Pricely Does
Pricely helps you record the prices you pay, compare them across units and stores, follow price trends, and get a buy-advisor verdict (good deal, fair, or pricey) based on your own price history.
Pricely is local-first: it does not require an account, and your data is stored on your device. Some features use the internet, such as store address suggestions, analytics, and ads, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your Data and Content
You own the items, prices, stores, and notes you enter. You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping your own backups. Because your data is stored on your device and we do not operate a server holding a copy, we cannot recover lost data if your device is lost or reset or the app is deleted, unless you have a backup file.
Backup files you create are yours. When you save or share one using another service (such as iCloud Drive or email), that service’s terms apply.
No Financial Advice
Price comparisons, unit normalization, inflation figures, and buy-advisor verdicts are calculated only from the data you enter. They are provided for convenience and information only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate, and they are not financial, purchasing, or professional advice. You are solely responsible for your purchasing decisions.
Free App and In-App Purchase
Pricely is free to download and includes advertisements. You may buy an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase, "Remove Ads," which removes ads from the app.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- The price is shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region
- Your purchase can be restored on other devices signed in with the same Apple ID using "Restore purchase" in the app
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com
Advertising
The free version of the app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Ad content is provided by Google and is subject to Google’s advertising policies. AdMob may collect certain device and usage data to serve ads, as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for any products or services they promote.
Third-Party Services
The app relies on third-party services, including Google Analytics for Firebase, Google AdMob, Photon (an OpenStreetMap-based geocoder operated by komoot), and the Apple App Store. Address suggestions use OpenStreetMap data © OpenStreetMap contributors. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability or accuracy.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the app, including its name, logo, graphics, design, and code, are owned by Sanyezi and protected by intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours.
Updates and Modifications
We may release updates to add features, fix bugs, or improve performance, and we may change or discontinue features. Some updates may be required to keep using the app.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Calculations, conversions, or verdicts will be accurate or complete
- Your data will be preserved across updates, device changes, or restores
- Third-party services such as address search will always be available
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sanyezi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, money, or savings, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling permanently removes all locally stored data. We may end your license if you breach these terms. Because there is no account system, there is no account to close.
Apple App Store Terms
These terms are between you and Sanyezi, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Anything these terms do not cover is governed by the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
